Assign Other Costs (Group)

Open the Assignment - Group Other Cost screen

  1. Hover a mouse pointer over the Schedule menu link on the menu bar to display its drop-down menu.

  2. Slide a mouse pointer over to the Assignment to display its menu.

  3. Click Assign Group Other Cost to open the Assignment - Group Other Cost screen.

 

Assign other cost to a group

  1. If applicable, select a location from the Location drop-down list located at the menu bar.

  2. From the Assignment - Group Other Cost screen, select an organization from the Organization drop-down list.

  3. Select an agreement from the Agreement drop-down list.

  4. Select an extra charge type from the Extra Charge drop-down list.

  5. Select other cost name from the Other Cost Name drop-down list, if applicable.

  6. Enter the start and end dates into the Start Date and End Date text boxes. Alternatively, select the dates from the calendar. (see also Date Format)

  7. Select a labor group from the Group drop-down list to display its labor resources.

  8. Select one or more labor resources from the Resources list box, using the Control or Shift key control. (see also Control and Shift Keys)

  9. Click Assign to assign other cost to the selected group of labor resources. The message is displayed that the selected labor resources are assigned other costs. Otherwise, the message provides further instructions.

 

Unassign other cost to a group

  1. From the Assignment - Group Other Cost screen, select an organization from the Organization drop-down list to display its agreements in the Agreement drop-down list.

  2. Select an agreement from the Agreement drop-down list to display its extra charges in the Extra Charge drop-down list.

  3. Select an extra charge type from the Extra Charge drop-down list.

  4. Select other cost name from the Other Cost Name drop-down list, if applicable.

  5. Enter the start and end dates into the Start Date and End Date text boxes. Alternatively, select the dates from the calendar, using the Calendar controls. (see also Date Format)

  6. Select a labor group from the Group drop-down list to display its labor resources.

  7. Select one or more labor resources from the Resources list box, using the Control or Shift key control. (see also Control and Shift Keys)

  8. Click Unassign to remove other cost from the selected group of labor resources. The message is displayed that the selected labor resources are unassigned from other costs. Otherwise, the message provides further instructions.
