Work class is a user-defined category to clarify the type of work for which the Unit Price activity will be created against. The examples of a work class are electrical, insulation, and painting.
Hover a mouse pointer over the Settings menu link on the menu bar to display its drop-down menu.
Slide a mouse pointer over the Unit Price option to display its menu.
Click Work Class to
open the Work Class screen.
If applicable, select a location from the Location drop-down list located at the menu bar.
From the Work Class screen, enter a new work class name into the Class Name text box.
Enter the work class description into the Class Description text box.
Click Add to save and display the new work class in the Work Class Detail grid.
From the Work Class Detail grid, click the Edit icon on the line item to enable and display the Class Name, Description, and Last Modified Date text boxes.
Make the changes to the selected work class then click the Update icon to save the modifications.
From the Work Class Detail grid, click the Delete icon on a line item. The delete confirmation pop-up message appears.
Click OK to delete the selected work class.
