The following table is a list of file import types available in Track application. Contract Management Controls, Inc. for the Track Import File Layout document for the field names and their descriptions.

Add New Equipment |
The New Equipment import allows user to import new equipment into Track. The import excludes the user defined fields. |
Allocation |
The Allocation import is used to allocate the labor hours calculated by Track. The allocations may be forced to match the total number of hours in Track or the allocations can be rejected if the total number exceeds the amount of calculated time by Track. |
Contract Skill Assignment |
The Contract Skill Assignment import allows user to assign an existing Agreement and Skill to individual labor resource in Track. This can be beneficial to quickly assign new agreements and skills for a turnaround or onboarding a new contractor. |
Cost Objects Level 1 |
The Cost Objects Level 1 import allows user to import Level 1 cost objects. This is useful when there is no interface available for importing cost objects into Track from an outside system. This import can also be used for Turnaround cost objects that may come from an alternate planning system. If the Cost Object exists, only updated information will be changed. |
Cost Object Level 2 |
The Cost Object Level 2 import allows user to import Level 2 cost objects. This is useful when there is no interface available for importing cost objects into Track from an outside system. This import can also be used for Turnaround cost objects that may come from an alternate planning system. If the Cost Object exists, only updated information will be changed. |
Cost Object Level 3 |
The Cost Object Level 3 import allows user to import Level 3 cost objects. This is useful when there is no interface available for importing cost objects into Track from an outside system. This import can also be used for Turnaround cost objects that may come from an alternate planning system. If the Cost Object exists, only updated information will be changed. |
Cost Object Level 4 |
The Cost Object Level 4 import allows user to import Level 4 cost objects. This is useful when there is no interface available for importing cost objects into Track from an outside system. This import can also be used for Turnaround cost objects that may come from an alternate planning system. If the Cost Object exists, only updated information will be changed. |
Equipment Agreement Group/Type/Rates |
The Equipment Agreement Group/Type/Rates import allows a user to import Equipment Rates. This facilitates the input of the large number of rates for different types of equipment. |
Equipment Allocation |
The Equipment Allocation import allows user to import allocations for equipment daily. |
Equipment Utilization |
The Equipment Utilization import allows user to import equipment activity daily based on the IN and OUT events. |
Equipment Utilization and Allocation |
The Equipment Utilization and Allocation import allows users to import both equipment utilization and allocation. |
Global Equipment Groups/Types |
The Global Equipment Groups/Types import allows user to import Global Equipment Groups and Types. This import is useful when Equipment Groups and Types have been setup in Test and need to be moved into Production. If the Group name does not exist, it will be created. If the Type name does not exist, it will be created. If the Group and/or Type already exists, the user will be notified that the Group and/or Type already exists. Any existing Group or Type will not be updated. |
Global Labor Skills |
The Global Labor Skills import allows user to import Global Labor Skills. This import is useful to move a skill list from Test to Production. If the skill name does not exist, it will be added. |
Labor Agreement Skills/Rates |
The Labor Agreement Skills/Rates import is used to enter new or updated rates in Track. The Agreement must exist in Track and the Skill must be in the Global Skill list. |
Labor Agreement/Skills/Rates/ShiftDiff |
The Labor Agreement/Skills/Rates/ShiftDiff import is used to enter a new Agreement with skills and/or shift differential or update an existing agreement that has shift differential. The Agreement may be entirely new and does not have to exist in Track. The Skills may be new and do not have to exist in the Global Skill list. If the agreement has a shift differential, this import type must be used to update the rates. |
Labor Resource |
The Labor Resource import allows user to import Personnel into Track. This typically will be used in the absence of an Access Control System and/or Interface. This import can also be used to setup personnel that always work off-site and therefore are not setup in the Access Control System. Not all fields are required to contain data. |
Material Allocation |
The Material Allocation import allows user to import material allocations. This works well for contractors that use a lot of materials, such as scaffolding. The material allocation import cannot be used to reduce quantities of material already entered and allocated. |
Material Item Rate |
This material item-rate import permits master data entry for material item-rates, supporting vendors with a large number of material items. The material item-rate import template can only be used to enter rates for items within a material group that has been configured as Item Rates Defined in Contract as non-contract-rate items do not carry a rate. The template will not support the deletion of any data. |
Override and Allocation |
The Override and Allocation import uses the same template as the Allocation Import. However, the codes for Columns B and AD must indicate the override. This import allows the user to override existing calculated labor hours or add hours that do not exist in Track. The allocations should be forced to match the total number of hours being submitted with the import. The option to use this import will only be available in the drop-down box for users that have the authority to override labor hours in their security profile. |
Schedule Assignment |
The Schedule Assignment import allows user to assign an existing Schedule to individual Personnel in Track. This can be beneficial to quickly assign schedules during a turnaround or when onboarding a new contractor. All fields are required to be populated. |
Track Admin Add Users Import |
The Track Admin Add Users Import allows a user to provision new or existing Track users through an import. |
Track In Out Events |
The Track In Out Events import allows user to import IN/OUT activity in the absence of an Access Control System Interface. Required data fields are: Record ID, Location Code, Company Code, Resource ID, In Out Date Time, In Out Indicate. All other data fields are optional but if supplied, they must match what they are in Track. |
