The cost center or department name will appear in the Has Default Assignment drop-down list on the Labor Information screen.
Hover a mouse pointer over the Settings menu link on the menu bar to display its menu.
Slide a mouse pointer over the Global Values option to display its menu.
Click Cost Center/Dept Name
to open the Cost Centers/Department Names screen.
From the Cost Centers/Department Names screen, enter a new cost center or a department name into the Cost Center/Department Name text box.
Enter its description into the Description text box.
Click Add to save and display the new cost center or department name in the Cost Centers/Department Names Listing.
The cost center or a department name cannot be edited, but it can be deleted if it is not in use.
From the Cost Centers/Department Names Listing, click the Edit icon to enable and displayed the selected cost center or department description in the Description text box.
Make the changes then click the Update icon to save the selected cost center or department description.
From the Cost Centers/Department Names Listing, click the Delete icon. The delete confirmation pop-up message appears.
Click OK to delete the selected cost center or department name.
